Think Biosolution is building QuasaR™, a medical device that will be a virtual GP that attends to patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The virtual GP will be able to detect mild symptoms and prevent the onset of five of the most common chronic conditions. ESA BIC has helped Think Biosolution to add and validate GNSS (Galileo) capabilities to the QuasaR™ device.
This will be the world’s first medical device to use GNSS (Galileo) for diagnostics. Their QuasaR™ device uses GNSS as a wandering alert for dementia patients and helps first responders quickly locate patients in case of a medical emergency such as a fall or cardiac arrest.
