Wild fires and natural disasters are growing in number and size, a problem that already existed is now being fuelled by global warming, ineffective land management and in some places monoculture. Drone Consultants Ireland have created an aircraft/helicopter deployable drone system that can be dropped into remote locations, providing an aerial view of 300 sq. km, communications and location beacon for up to 500hrs.
A persistent eye in the sky with the capacity to view large areas and provide a communal communications platform incorporating land and aerial defences, negates many of the existing problems with assured information giving central command better control of the unfolding emergency. Drone Consultants Ireland have multiple downstream satellite applications, which pinpoint location, and help with communications and connectivity.
